The CUNY School of Medicine (CSOM)

A medical school located in the heart of Harlem, NY, CSOM strives to provide equitable, quality health services to underserved communities and battle racial inequity within the same communities as well as the healthcare community.

CSOM directly recruits its students from within the same underserved areas it's looking to serve, therefore making sure the people see medical professionals that represent them.

Our revenues are insufficient to expand the school to ensure we achieve our missions. We need philanthropic support for the CSOM.

The right crowd for CUNY Med is highly empathetic philanthropists that want to make sure their donations go to a just cause.

With a memorable identity, CUNY Med will reintroduce itself to the public by using a provocative message calling back to their work within the communities.

Now CUNY Med will bring its message to the people.

CUNY Med needs to be where the people are. From subway posters to local newspapers, the message will get out to the people that will be affected the most.

Once CUNY Med introduces itself to the right crowd then it's time to speak about why the right crowd's donations will go to a just cause.

The Past, Present, and Future Banquet

The banquet will host past students (alumni) who are currently working in underserved communities, present students, and future students that will attend CUNYMed.

 

There will be an active panel discussion between the students and Q&A sessions where the donors can begin to connect with those that will benefit from the philanthropist's donations.

 

Success Metrics

Social Media​

  • Increase engagement with CUNY Med social media by 50%.

  • Increase views by 120%.

Events​

  • Fundraiser attendance: 300+.

  • Increase donations by 70%.

  • Donation goal: 8M
